Hotel entrepreneur Robert Bigelow, the biggest individual donor to a group supporting Ron DeSantis’ presidential bid, told Reuters on Friday he will not donate more money unless the Florida governor attracts new major donors and adopts a more moderate approach.
“Do what I say or you won’t get more money” is really what’s being said. As if we need any more proof this country is run by oligarchs.
If there was ever any question as to who runs our country, it’s the rich. They pull the strings of the politicians. Get money out of politics! Money is NOT speech! Corporations are NOT people!
