This hits home for me! I fondly remember eating roach filled ice cream sprinkled with spore, during the Sunday morning walks with my father. Every week during the summer, we used to make a lengthy trip around the complex. From the blast doors, flexible housings, all the way to the emergency cooling water storage. Now I know that the reason for those existing, was the failure of the algae dispenser in our underground. Still, I’m glad that my father found energy to give me attention and sense of enjoying little things in those trying times. Bummer about your ice cream parlor man, have you talked to the manager?

Dude! You guys did the Sunday walkthrough as well? We did a similar thing. We had an old molecular extractor licensed for food replication, but remember the prohibition? We couldn’t legally replicate any food for those 3 years, so to make sure the machine was in working order, my dad would replicate our family hamster every Sunday, and since we were only licensed for one hamster, we had hamster stew every week for 3 years. Fun times.

Anyways, enough rambling about my childhood. I tried talking to the manager, but that guy wouldn’t even look at me or answer me. Dude kept chugging gallons and gallons of sugar water. I just got up and left.
