Would have been better if he had had a chance to play in previous friendlies and get some training minutes in; I guess he may come on against Bilbao in the second-string team they are going to put out. High price for unproven talent but I have hope.

Tbf, high price in general is the theme rn. Rice is proven at a decent level, and Lukaku was certainly proven at one point. Sometimes it’s not just about talent though.
