The daily discussion states the protests is more or less a failure.

    We should get people to go over here, but that’s fine if it happens slowly, too. /r/LA kind of sucks sometimes. And a lot of the mods weren’t expecting all the strike breaking tactics.

    Still, it caused Lemmy and kbin to grow a ton in a short period of time, so overall, I would say that’s progress and damage to reddit, even if a small amount.

      I think people like me need some times, I’m still trying to find communities that I previously got used to. Once RiF stops working, that’s where my mobile activity stops on reddit. I will probably still use old.reddit.com. I think what lemmy needs (and I saw an option) is to allow users combine multiple communities into one. The distributed aspect makes the communities look even smaller than they are because people are spread out.
