I tried disabling uBlock (although it’s not blocking anything), but once I click “log in” the icon keeps spinning. I try from Brave and it works with no problems

Have you check if browser is set to nuke everything between sessions?
Yes. I added cookie exception. It was solved after clearing website cache.
you almost never have to disable uBlock. The solution you mentioned was clearing cache
