Thank you for posting this. I use 5 calls app to let my reps know how egregious this is (of course only ever talk to aides). It is a sad day because this person does deserve imprisonment. He has never had to pay for his many crimes. Has he ever paid his SA victim a penny of what his settlement was? Nope, due to waiting indefinitely for the appeal process. No words for how terrible potus is. A disgrace for sure.

This was posted in the middle of the night US time, and it’s a not very popular community due to the fact it’s just a repost of a reddit sub.
There’s plenty of discussion in the bigger subs, and tons of protests across the country. Cherry picking “nobody is outraged enough” is just lazy and wrong.

That is a response. Im not sure what you are suggesting, because all your posts in this thread are anger and not really giving an actionable. Lemmy is a community, and communities can be for a lot of things, and just because it’s not solving this problem doesn’t mean it’s failed or dead or useless.

I think if you try and measure lemmy against other social media it will always seem incredibly low. There’s no company behind lemmy trying to keep engagement up to increase profits. That’s not a bad thing
