Sadly, the poll was almost perfectly tied, so the political content can also stay.

If Reddit does manage to survive, it’s going to be hilarious scrolling through the old histories. Sort of like how you can fingerprint covid times on Youtube.

I truly think the drop off in quality content is going to be huge. I hope and IPO bonus spez was in line for goes right out the window. The best part was this could’ve been done in a way that’s both profitable for reddit and fair to users but instead of negotiating they said fuck you guys. Can’t wait to see Lemmy numbers on and after the 1st.

Hahah, that’s awesome. And probably the people who wanted things to stay as normal will begin to get annoyed at all the wolves being posted and maybe go somewhere else.

If theres one good thing about this whole strike its the litany of post-2016 American political subs shutting down. Hope toiletpaper and leopards change to posting about their namesakes next.

Oh I strongly, strongly disagree with that. They’ll be banned and replaced with exclusively neoliberalism and maybe some neocon crap. Right wings will move to the fediverse and manage their own instances defederated from explicit left wing ones.

I just checked /r/conservative and it looked like they’re supportive of the protest.
