I live in a pretty rural place and I would really love to take my bike out around town, but all the people who speed around our narrow roads and blind turns while driving oversized trucks & SUVs makes it impossible. It would be so nice though 😢

People drive 10+ MPH over the limit where I would ride, there’s no shoulder and no sidewalk. Most of the side of the road is either a steep up or down hill, which effectively traps you if a vehicle careens toward you. There are also very frequent collisions at an intersection near me.
I wouldn’t ride my bike to where I want to go if you put a gun to my head. And that’s a serious problem.
