I started dating a new man and of all things he told me his marriage ended because of his wife’s bipolar. I’m not saying a word for a while.
I started dating a new person and she told me she has bipolar too, and I’m reconsidering because I don’t want to inflict this on our potential children.
Noooo. I’m going to answer this from a hopefully different perspective. That’s not a death sentence. And if so, then she has living parents that understand and know how to mitigate?
I just know wht a struggle its been for me, and surely doubling down on it genetically could increase the potential for making it worse in the child right?
I’ve read it’s 30-50% chance.
