      Don’t know the game’s other qualities, but IMO the art in Summertime Saga looks rather uninspired.

        It’s free to play. Last time I checked, the maker was getting about 60k/month from Patreon donations. It has… Qualities.

        Aesthetic taste is so individual and relative though. Can you mention a 2D visual novel game that you consider to have better art so we understand your perspective? I personally like the art style of Summertime Saga quite a bit, and is what originally attracted me to it. I much prefer this style over the vast majority of hentai, just as an example.
