Saving you a click – the article is just empty waffle around this Gurman tweet: “I would guess that the Zeiss prescription lenses for the Vision Pro will be at least $300-600 a pair, unless Apple is eating part of the cost given the already high price of the headset itself.”
(I can also cross-post!)
What’s wrong with cross posting?
Nothing really, I’m just admitting to reposting my own comment too
Apple does everything they can do to prevent family devices. iPad still has no user support and apps can’t even implement their own user systems. They are masters of dark patterns.

Because I never ever wear contacts. Just not my thing.
I was actually pondering this; your fake face via EyeSight certainly won’t support glasses, but I always wear glasses. That alone will make me look weird!
Is there any reason they couldn’t superimpose glasses on your face? I thought filters like adding glasses are a pretty solved problem.
Personally I started as farsighted and ended up with bifocals after a while. Contacts would not really solve my problems, and I’m not sure I would want them just for this device. To compare, I paid $100 for lens inserts for my psvr2.
