In contrast to the 1970s, much of today's political violence is aimed at people, not property. And most deadly attacks tracked by Reuters come from the right--such as a Trump fan who shot a neighbor.

    Who would have guessed cranking the background noise up to 11 would drive people insane? Reagan probably did. Thats why he axed all of the fairness legislation. To create these political bubbles in the first place.

      In the 1970s the left targeted buildings, not people. Today the right target actual people, even groups of people to inflict violence against. That’s why it feels worse.

      No. A lot of violence is done for personal gain or anger/revenge.

          I’m sure you could make an argument that like “my girlfriend broke up with me so I shot her new boyfriend” is because of capitalism, but I’m not sure I’d buy it. Pun intended.
