It’s hard for me to pick one. BCG is great, so is Christian not allowing Luchasaurus to hold his belt. On the women’s side I love Willow’s smile and energy. She’s a great babyface.
And I have to give a shout-out to LA Knight. He’s been great in the bits of WWE I’ve seen…and his “YEAH!” is super over.
I attended SummerSlam and the “Yeahs” live were DEAFENING. I haven’t seen anyone this organically over since Rusev
Damn, I bet. I caught his promo with the Miz on Raw and he crushed it. You can tell he’s really figured out his character.
Christian is absolutely my answer, he’s been pulling an all-timer run despite his injury stalling things. Anytime he’s on screen I’m giddy at what he might say next.
Edit: only rival to dickhead Christian would be Dark Order Yuka… Wait, what’s that? That never happened? Well it’s not too late to fix that, Tony.
I pretty much agree with TellUmSiege tough question.
Love LA Knight on the WWE side, it’s hard to get too attached to anyone on their end though, because unless the company also loves them they stay in some weird purgatory, but maybe I’m just a jaded former Ziggler fan.
On AEW side I guess I’ll go with guys that I feel would generally make great characters in general. Like Jay thinking of evil plans with his deranged number 2 Juice getting into slimeball hijinks would be great.
Ricky Starks as a charismatic guy just trying to succeed but occasionally straying to the dark side also fits for me.
OC has also grown on me alot and him slowly but surely breaking down has been great to watch.
I wanna add one more name to the list: Speedball Mike Bailey.
He’s like OC for me: I wasn’t sure about the gimmick at first but holy hell has it grown on me. And it doesn’t hurt that he’s a phenomenal wrestler.
