This is an open game of Chess where the top legal comment directly to the post decides the next move. The game also includes Knooks who stood in for Kingside bishops who went on vacation at the start of the game.

Like how the Queen can move like a Bishop or a Rook, A Knook can move like a Knight or a Rook and it has the Algebraic notation symbol of O. On the board, it looks like they have a K tattoo. Pawns can also promote to Knooks.

Posts will also contain placeholder moves put there by me because the show must go on and i’ll remove my own vote, so anyone else making a move should be higher ranked than mine immediately after its published. Placeholder moves can be upvoted and downvoted like any others.

After Qxg3+ that bishop is no real threat to black there. He can stay on vacation a bit longer. I’d suggest Kf2 (18. Kf2 Qxg3+, 19. Qxg3 and now neither knook nor knight can effectively check the white king.)

Ok. i mainly wanted to remind people that it was eagerly standing on the sidelines =) . In the post, the fine print says its a top level comment (i wasnt sure if it’d get lots of attention), but if the comment i reply to has the most votes, Kf2 is the move.
