TMNT is one of those franchises where they can make comics/tv/movies/merchandise all at the same time for cross-promotion, like the movie that just came out (even if it isn’t directly related to The Last Ronin)

I’ve been meaning to read the comic so I guess I’ll move it higher up on my reading list now
