We’d have a hard time beating Haaland on goal difference. I want to put so many points in between us and them that it will not even come down to goals.
3 points are 3 points. Great performances all around. Love the experimentation from Arteta. Teams will find it hard to game plan now. Midfield was in control the whole game and Havertz really shined in his role. We just really have to start being more clinical in front of goal. Can’t let teams come back and have a chance with us. Concerning pattern since last season.
Special shout-out to Trossard. His tenacity and work rate is so good. I can see why Arteta likes bringing him on near the end to give them that boost.
I think people are going to be really surprised by the different types of rotations we’ll be having this year.
Took a look at the goal we conceded - Saka, White and Leo were there to defend on the counter. Maybe it’s our set piece routine that needs to change.
