Despite the implied idea of mercy and communal goodwill amongst all creatures… it still does not end well for the Impala.
I switched to a union job last year, and my ex employer, when I quit asked if there is anything they can do to keep me. I told them that they can go back in time and give me a raise every year, consistent with costs of living, and they can unionize me. My old job would have had to double their cost to match the offer and keep me, that’s how badly they were under paying me.
