    It’s fascinating how even with all of Intel’s struggles over the past ~5 years or so, it’s only now that AMD has been able to match their position in the server CPU market.

      server markets dont shift instantly. they gradually take time to change, much more slower than consumer adoption rate even. its why the growth in the market for server matters more than the actual market share, as it shows shifts in market behavior which represent what the market wants in the future.

        Yea, average time is something like every 5-7 years for hardware refreshes, so we’re right on time lol

    So AMD now dominates (or almost) both consumer and server cpu market. Not surprising, considering the offerings from Intel at this point. Man, Intel has fallen. Fully expecting them to be bought by qualcom or broadcom or similar soon.
