    I honestly think that’s the strategy though, no? At lower difficulties you can dig in your heels and clear the wave but at the highest difficulty the waves don’t stop so you need to speed run it

      Swarms on egg missions are initiated by the eggs being unearthed. 4 egg missions will have 1 swarm, 6 egg missions have 2 swarms, and 8 egg missions have 3 swarms. The swarms are assigned to particular eggs at random during cave generation.

      Pulling an egg will spawn a smaller wave of enemies if it doesn’t start a swarm, and even smaller groups of enemies will spawn periodicaly throughout the mission. If you pull multiple eggs in quick succession, you will stack these spawns on top of each other and increase the chance that you overwhelm yourself. If you’re in a party that wants to embrace the chaos then go for it, but the safe strategy is to pull eggs one at a time, dealing with their spawns as you go.
