OK so visual ping doesn’t work because the website is over-designed. pagecrawl seems to work, but it’s sent by email, I’d prefer an RSS feed.
They make email to rss tools, just use one of those in conjunction with pagecrawl.
cant you maybe have any agent like changedetection or huginn use selenium to crawl the page and fetch said info? i think changedetection has rss feeds for changes which include plaintext and/or screenshots.
