Researchers in heavily drilled Pennsylvania are adding to a body of evidence suggesting links between the natural gas industry and certain health problems.

So frustrating that this industry isn’t properly regulated. It’s massively profitable and has had a profound impact on US energy structure.

Yet basic regulations can’t be implemented because they’re “too challenging” for the industry. Even as continued evidence of its harm pops up.

It’s insane. And shameful. I have some shockingly wealthy acquaintances connected to the industry, and without fail, they’ll all spread the pro-industry propaganda before any votes related to the most basic regulations. Then they’ll post about some insanely extravagant material item in the same breath. Absolutely blinded by greed.

      It’s massively profitable…

Look no further. Here lies the underlying cause of your frustration.

The process was invented after Reagan, so good luck creating new regulations for it.

Because they’ve gone to such lengths to hide what chemicals they are using, we already knew they were an environmental and health disaster, but its good to finally get evidence

Yeah, but what’s more important, fossil fuels or children?

I look forward to conservatives calling this “woke” and campaigning for more fracking.

Remember what happened when scientists found out that gas stoves/ovens can increase asthma risk in kids?

Except for conservatives, of course. They don’t believe in asthma or lymphoma, so their children are gonna be just fine.

Quick reminder: Never trust a conservative around a child.
