Yeah… I wouldn’t recommend shooting at a metal object from a few feet away.
Also, I know it was a different era, but if I saw someone shooting an inanimate out of anger today, I would assume that person belongs to a certain cult.

I never liked avocado or guacamole until I vacationed in Mexico. A freshly ripened avocado is significantly tastier than what you’ll find in the average grocery store.
…I still don’t like fish.

I’m not even sure if you guys are real. And Lemmy is pretty obscure.
The crate is the dog’s safe space, not a punishment. If I need my dog to be in her crate, I reward her when she goes inside.
There are also hand motions to go with common commands like ‘sit’. I’ve found this makes it easier for a dog to understand me.
I think I’ve seen this episode of Stranger Things. Don’t let that thing reach maturity.

You could always start by teaching English in another country. I recall that it pays quite well and is in demand in many countries. The requirements are also very low.
As for learning another language. You get better at it when you’re around it constantly.

Oh no, you couldn’t possibly take out all of the AI data centers. That would be so awful for the shareholders.

US military spending is already ~40% of global military spending, which is an insane number. Halving that budget could fix so many problems.

I was just discussing how bad sensors are on any vehicle. Automatic lane steering is scary to use and does not feel like an actual driver even when it is working. Those sensors that alert you of something being to close go off randomly at street lights all the time. Factor in weather, faded lines, missing speed limit signs, dirt, and a million edge cases, and there is no way a vehicle can safely be trusted to drive itself.
So many consumers aren’t aware of these risks. More so, the people taking these risk aren’t just putting their own lives in danger. FSD needs to be illegal.
Looked this up. This actually happened. Fuck. The. Yankees.
Charlie Kirk didn’t didn’t become a anything less than a piece of shit for his ironic death. He was a monster and should be remembered as such
Most of them are probably 18 years old, poorly educated, and raised on Fox News. They’re just pawns that have no idea what’s going on.
Congress on the other hand, knows exactly what they’re doing, and has no moral qualms.

Pretty sure that kid’s arm would hang down to his ankle if he straightened it. Must be all those atomic wafers.

Elect one of the dumbest most brazen idiots on the planet. Be shocked when the world goes to shit.
Odds are Keychron has what you need.
…Or at least close enough.
Always something very challenging. Not something beyond comprehension, but a song that I can pick away at. I don’t often push myself, but when I do, the results are obvious.
Anyway, Eugene’s trick bag was a big one for me. It’s not a song, per say, just a (Steve Vai) solo used to defeat the devil in an eighties movie.
Glass Prison has some similar arpeggio shapes.
Trying out different genres of music is also eye opening. I can play basic to advanced rock stuff easily. A little jazz or classical and my brain melts. To that end “las abejas” and “fly me to the moon” were like learning a foreign language. I don’t particularly like the latter, but it definitely showed me just how little I know.
Best of luck. Keep pushing yourself.

I was waiting for a punchline involving an sand or the letter ‘s’… Still good though

Better general medical science. So much of what we use is very old tech. We still can’t regrow cartligage. We still pin bones together with titanium screws. We still mostly use fiberglass casts (though better alternatives exist). We still catch the common cold.

Kind of wish he’d have been very vocal with everything he knows before he died…

I’m not saying isn’t worth the investment. I’m all for it. I’m just surprised that they couldn’t get more houses for that money. If the government is only willing to shell out $7 million, I’d like to see the number of individuals housed maximized.
Buy a home. The paperwork costs a % of the home’s value. It’s the same paperwork whether you buy a 2 million dollar home or $200k home. It is not a substantial sum. Plus you you tip your realtor a % of the sale value. Absolute scam.
