I realize food tokens can have more use than just life, but needing to pay more to gain life and attack to draw doesn’t compare well to Krasis despite the +2/+2 to make up for it.
Yeah it’s definitely no Krasis, but I think the fact that it works well at lower X values means it’ll still be useful in a dedicated Food deck. Just doesn’t have as much immediate value in generic Simic decks which is probably good
In eternal formats this is a great “food in a can” (hah!) card. It only produces half X tokens but you get a god body to make up for it.
I wonder if there are and UG tokens decks that want this.
Hydroid krasis was busted, I think this is fine swap for like cube if you find hydroid krasis too obnoxious.
This is my favorite card in the set so far. I love this!
