An investigation found that Tesla’s Fremont, California, plant had three times as many Occupational Safety and Health Administration safety violations as 10 other US car factories combined. Injuries were higher than the national average, and training was shorter. And Tesla was found to have repeatedly misclassified and underreported injuries at its facilities in California and Nevada.

This isn’t “hardcore” or whatever Elon wanted to call it. This is just simply worker abuse and is dangerous. Literally built upon the blood and bones of your workers. We stopped doing this a century ago because no amount of money is worth the loss of limb. Safety standards are an important part of work/life balance.

If the antics of the fragile man-child haven’t been the tipping point for you, worker abuse and worker rights violations should be.

This dude is leading his companies, like one of his dad’s emerald mines in South Africa.

I wish this is a joke, but his behavior and political views are straightforward.

I can’t imagine taking pride in making money for an entity that takes pride in mistreating me.

Not kink shaming. Just not for me.

Everyone should do themselves a favor and look up the discrimination lawsuits and the sexual harassment/assault ones as well. Tesla’s workplace culture comes directly from the top, and Elon has been pushing toxicity for a decade now. The stories are horrendous, the reports of major quality misses, shoddy engineering, outright lies to the public, major EPA violations, OSHA violations, not paying suppliers and contractors.

The worst part is that the people working there need their jobs, so it’s not like they can make the choice to leave. And Musk knows it.
