Had this staff since level 52. I’m at level 65 now and I have yet to replace it. A few have come close, but the +43% damage to stunned enemies as a lightning sorc is really quite incredible. I’ve upgraded it three (out of 5) times now – Even Unique Sacred items haven’t come close.

Was this just a super lucky drop?

    Had a similar thing on my werebear. Just amazing stats, tons of near max overpower buff and major basic damage buff to the point mual actually does damage and is fun to spam. 20+ levels and still yet to replace it. Some drops are just hella good I guess lol

    I’m still running around in boots I dropped at 52. I’m 79 now. Lucky rolls are just that.

    Looks pretty sweet. Only problem I have is that it’s a staff and not a wand. I tend to prefer the extra stuff you can get from having a weapon and offhand at the same time.

        Yeah, getting CDR or RCR on the off-hand can be quite useful sometimes.

        I wonder if anyone’s done a general comparison of two-handed vs one-handed/offhand.

            You’ll lose the 2x benefit on the aspect though, right?

              Yeah, but I generally think the 2x benefit is specifically to make up for the fact that not having an off-hand is so limiting in terms of affixes and aspects. Generally, I salvage or sell all staffs as a sorcerer because even the slower base attack speed alone is enough to make me not want to use it.

    I used to not care about perfect rolls, but now it’s been ingrained to only search for those. (Or where most are perfect). I’m level 69 (nice) now, and am literally selling/salvaging anything that’s not ancestral perfect/near-perfect 🙃. Maybe I need to drop my standards a bit.

      I have yet to get to ancestral yet :) I just started doing ~Tier 15 dungeon runs. Just now figuring out how sigils work – I have like 40 tier 1 / tier 2 sigils. Had no idea what they were or how they worked. That’s where I’ve received all my Unique Sacred gear so far. Hopefully I’ll hit level 70 by the end of the week so I can do the capstone dungeon and start griding ancestral gear.
