These two are so adorable. And the kiss! Also love the imagery that this show sets up when taking the photos.
I felt second-hand embarrassment from that kiss. It was cringe in the truest sense of the word, but in a good way. Really well done. I loved Nakami’s reaction.
out of all the anime i’m watching this season, this one feels like it’s the most … economically animated? but also it feels like it does pretty well given that. i liked the contrast between the lighted up Mitsukejima with the characters obscuring the sky, then you get more of the stars through the reflection in the water, and then finally back with the characters in frame.
there was a bit of focus on the shoes before the episode’s climax to contrast with the missing pair of shoes in the beginning.
