Would be good to have a modern Optane equivalent. Although I am assuming this will be targeted exclusively at enterprise users.
Eh most new tech is initially used in military and enterprise applications before trickling down to the consumer space
While this is true, we did have consumer Optane from Intel 10 years ago or so.
Intel also seem to be in a bit of a freefall atm and their CEO recently said something along the lines that they’re effectively giving up even trying to compete in the AI space. Which (regardless of anyone’s views on AI) for a semiconductor company like intel, is kinda the main market you can’t ignore currently.
