Seeing as I couldn’t find a community for The Smile, I figured people here would be interested.

Personally I love it, and have since seeing it live. It’s like the first 3/4 is “Bending” then the last is “Hectic”.

    I love the chill vocals and languid guitar and linear jazz drumming and relaxed feeling but then it gets all horror strings and then Jonny’s all SHREDMASTARR!!! Awww yeah.

    Yeah, saw it live in Dallas in December. Have loved it ever since.

    While I feel it does hit MUCH harder live, I understand it’s different listening to a studio recording. Can’t change that. Awesome fucking single nevertheless. Hoping this means we get an autumn or winter release for LP2. Because as much as I’m excited for LP2, I really want Radiohead to get back into the studio sometime in 2024.
