Great for Thunder Bay, it’s a bit pricy and maybe not the best compared to what we could get from other international (non-US) partners, but Toronto needs this.
Reading between the lines in the article, I think choosing a local plant helped secure provincial and federal money. Ford and Carney may be more willing to open their wallets if they can score some flattering ‘elbows up’ PR
Chow previously said new subway cars would support new signals and technology that will allow them to arrive more frequently.
I can think of only two ways to achieve this:
- More trains
- Faster trains
