      I don’t know much about their story except they were bankrolled by Rob Mac and Ryan Reynolds and they had a documentary of one of their promotion seasons (I think it was).

          Yeah, I figured as much. I like an underdog story, but I don’t know if they’re really underdogs anynore, lol

            I mean in fairness, it’s still impressive to have climbed the leagues this consistently and this well even with rich owner money backing. And it’s much more moral owners than most silly money comes from.

              Of course. I don’t begrudge them that. Any team in their position would want the same. I feel like we could draw similar comparisons to the top flight at the moment…

              A mate of mine has slowly gotten me to follow Hashtag United over the last few seasons. They’re not bankrolling the club, but I can see how other teams with less of an online/international following would be annoyed at the excessive attention.
