    Those were cool! But you could only get the cheapies, no chrome or metal cassettes.

    Yeah, I mean - heh - sure, if you didn’t care about sound quality heh heh heh.

    Now some gold Maxell II Epitaxial - ho ho! Now you’re talkin’ some crisp highs, smooth midrange, and a commanding but not over-present bass! Just as Thomas Dolby intended.

    I had a few. I used whatever tape I could get. Think my fondest memory as a teen was tapping the Howard Stern Show. I was a weird teenager.
