With Frasier leaving Seattle to join Charlotte in Chicago at the end of the series and now picking up the reboot in Boston, we have to wonder how his relationship with Charlotte played out. Laura Linney not returning doesn’t bode well for Frasier’s love life. I have to wonder whether Charlotte will be written out at a love affair gone cold, killed off, or (unlikely) given the Maris off-screen treatment.
It’s too bad. I wanted a resolution to that, since that’s the way the series ended. But now my guess is they won’t mention it at all. Maybe have a one-liner in an episode including her among Frasier’s past relationships. But I can hope they do more. I liked Charlotte.
Charlotte was all right. But Faye was always my favorite. If only Frasier could stop mixing her name up with Cassandra 😬
Her being a new Maris would probably be too hard to keep secret.
