Actually, KPI’s have been shown to increase share price by 2% and executive compensation by 11% on average in the quarter after an organization implements them.
What about long term? I’m willing to bet it’s a short term cash grab that benefits the current stakeholders while leaving the company holding the bags later.
That will be somebody else’s problem next quarter
