Aside from the obvious, shouldn’t they use more than a $8 pair of harbor freight calipers?
In fairness the part looks rough enough that they could’ve probably been using a ruler and had enough precision.

Depends on if it has a Vernier scale on it. Cant tell from the picture but cant imagine why it wouldn’t.

It’s not mis calibrated - the side they are using is for measuring outer diameter, you flip the calipers over and use the other side to measure inner diameters.
