    They don’t cancel, its the automatic renewal that is the problem. Car insurance prays on people that can’t be bothered and lets it auto-renew… You see it go up by by 20% or something, phone them up and magically it costs less. They even have a button on their website which will renegotiate to a lower price automatically, its vile. Same with broadband. Mortgage is a fun thing every 5 years or so where you have to pick a new good deal that is only available for that time period before they go to the default rates which are disgustingly high. Credit cards do interest free credit deals for like, 2 years.

    The amount these companies make from people being inattentive or unwilling to go through this every year is insane.

        They tell you 30 days before what the renewal will be but it still requires doing something to get an appropriate price
