Some time ago, the wildest kratom was all the rage on reddit with some too-good-to-believe reviews. I’ve wondered if they are written by shills or if they are real. I remember a long time ago there were also some instances of Kratom spiked with some other drugs, but I consider that unlikely in the case of TWK.

What do you think? Any experience?

Personally I tend to be pretty skeptical of these extravagant claims about massive variations between products. I could not discern between any of them if my life depended on it.

I would love to do a blinded “pepsi challenge” with people who describe them being very different. To learn if in fact they can identify the product by its effects. Maybe I am extremely unperceptive, or I have never had “the good stuff”.

But til I read or experience something to change my mind, I have to go with understanding so far. There is not really a wide range of effects that I notice I think it’s mostly just people spinning themselves and one another up with marketing and the power of suggestion. I think kratom leaf powder would be difficult to intentionally contaminate at scale. Like how would you even do it? I do recall the stories of something have ?fent? in europe a few years ago but also we know how bad press coverage can be. So I’d have to go back and review to see if it is even vaguely reliable. Do you remember who covered it and how trustworthy they were?
