The ability to control the clock speed of your CPU sounds neat, IMO

I’ve been doing that since at least 2011. There’s also the I/O scheduler to adjust. Sometimes it adds a couple years to device usability.
Sure. But, it’s great to have that feature in a non-rooted device out of the box
