To be fair, he was being controlled by an angry space fart that fed on negative emotions. Chekov also claimed the Klingons killed a brother he never had.

Lol “oh yay another energy cloud episode” was my exact thought while rewatching the series.

I’m going to have to rewatch Futurama now too once I’ve gotten caught up with all of the Trek I have left to go, especially since Futurama has a new season.
I wish they were all on the same streaming service.
