“Hi, I come from Reddit and I am new to this world. After trying it for a while, I don’t understand why there is not a Search button here? I know the icon at the bottom, which you can use to search for communities, but the icon is a bit difficult to realize. Also I can’t still find how to search for contents on Lemmy.

Yes, that is Jerboa 0.0.33 on Google Play. Tried the dark mode but got the same icons.
Well damn… That’s confusing to me… Maybe they pushed a new version since I installed a couple days ago but my icons in Jerboa look like theirs and not yours even in regular / non dark mode

What kind of “contents” do you mean?
I mean searching for threads by keywords. For example “lemmy search button” then I get this thread.
So, this isn’t exactly a “button” like you were hoping for but maybe try this site and bookmark it if you like it and find it meets those needs for now…

I don’t tjink you can do that yet from jerboa, but you can from the web version
