Watched it today and I quite liked it. The art style was a bit confusing at times, but it’s strength is in its disorganised-ness. it made the multiverse more believable than yet another costume.

The use of colour was really nice, you could tell the artists really cared about how good the final product is. Excited for 29 Match 2024 😭

I agree, sometimes it was a little bit too fast paced and messy, but I really liked it. The art style is fantastic and I loved the Spiderman HQ 😀

      I few thoughts I had:

      • dragging the motorcycle constantly with you must be really impractical…
      • I love that Donald Glover reprised his role as Uncle Aaron from Homecoming, this time as proper Prowler

Can’t wait for the next one 😀

Probably the strongest movie intro I’ve seen. And one of the most artistic on the whole.

Absolutely fantastic movie. I was shocked to see “to be continued” since I wasn’t even a little tired of watching it, even after, what, more than two hours? I woulda watched it for five more, happily.

I absolutely loved this movie. I was debating whether or not to see it in the theater, and finally went ahead and I couldn’t believe how exciting and funny and vivid everything was. And then the second half of the movie kicked in and I was like blown away for probably 45 minutes straight. I didn’t even know it had a sequel, and it wasn’t the same feeling exactly, but when I saw the “to be continued” flash across the screen, I felt pretty similar to when the first Lord of the rings movies ended in the theaters and I was like oh my god I have to wait to see more of this? I want to see it all now!

I loved the color palette, I don’t know if I was more comfortable with the animation than the first movie or if they changed something so the animation seems smoother, but it didn’t bother me at all this go around compared to the first one, I laughed out loud several times, and I thought the action was very exciting and comprehensive, like there was always something happening on the screen that demanded attention.

And I’m really interested in and committed to the story now. More so than I was with the first movie.

Leaving the theater I literally said “wow!” Out loud to myself, and I was just thinking about how I was completely blown away by what i just saw.

I know this is a lot, it’s just every aspect of the movie combined to make me enjoy it so much that it surprised me. And I watch a lot of movies, so my surprise was surprising! I really just couldn’t believe how much I enjoyed spending 2 hours in a theater and I guess I’m trying to communicate that feeling.

I had one of those theaters with unclear audio and picked up maybe 1/3 of Spider-Punk’s dialogue. Even Miguel was tough to discern at some points. I saw it in a different theater a week later and it was much better.

I would encourage anyone who may be interested to see it in a theater.

The whole movie was fantastic but honestly I want a whole movie in the style of Gwen’s universe. Those first 10ish minutes were just beautiful and I was a little disappointed to go back to Miles’s perspective.

I felt the same. That was some great stuff and I also wouldn’t mind a whole Gwen movie. I really hope something comes out of this. The art was fantastic and the characters, especially her dad, were really interesting. Not to knock on the rest of the movie and its characters, but Gwen and her story stood out the most for me, more so than Miles ,who I sometimes felt was just dragged along for the ride.
