In case nobody has already told you, invites are not open. They open very infrequently, with very limited numbers.
Yes, I know the invites are very rare, and asking for one in a forum is a real long shot, but if you don’t ask, you don’t get. Since I don’t actually know anyone IRL who uses Usenet to download, this is really the only hope I have of ever getting an invite…
