For operational reasons and to ensure that the aid will safely arrive at its destination, specific details on the package’s contents and on the manner of its delivery are not disclosed, the Finnish government said.
Someone please explain to me how Ukraine has been paid all this money and is still considered a ‘sovereign nation’
Wouldn’t they have been purchased by now? The aid money they’ve received has to be more than the country itself is worth.

It’s absolutely approaching it has surpassed their 2022 GDP, reportedly said to be $160b
First of all, donating equipment does not equal giving money. Ukraine has received funds too though.
Secondly, the listed value of any equipment donated to Ukraine is the value of replacing that equipment for the donor. So an old donated tank is not that tank’s current worth, however that might be calculated, but what it would cost to get a new replacement.
How exactly do you feel giving assistance to the victim of a crime would reduce the victim’s sovereignty?
How exactly is the amount of donations received related to Ukraine being a sovereign nation?
Because of how these things work. If I’m handing you a large sun of money and then I ask you for some specific things in the future, you’re much more likely to do the things I’m asking you to do.
At that point, the Ukrainian government is potentially forced to make decisions that are not necessarily in the best interests of their people, and instead are in the best interests of American politicians
Wouldn’t they have been purchased by now?
Well, first, aid doesn’t buy things, and second, the economic output in a year isn’t the value of a country. Hell, even if it were a business, the economic activity of a business for a year isn’t the value of a business.
You didn’t answer the question
I think that both the first and second sentence answered it, but if you feel that it wasn’t clear from that, the answer is “no”.
If you donate clothes and money to the person in need, does it mean that you own them?
If you pay politicians, do they make decisions based on who gave them the most money?
