Homemade maple flavored chicken sausage https://downshiftology.com/recipes/chicken-breakfast-sausage/#wprm-recipe-container-51161 I had chicken thighs I needed to use up so I use the food processor instead of buy ground chicken . Poached eggs Multi grain toast Seasoned potatoes https://www.cookingclassy.com/breakfast-potatoes/#jump-to-recipe base recipe season how you like though. I added some cayenne
Nicely done! The eggs look absolutely perfect. I’m wondering, how did the breakfast sausage turn out? Were you happy with the results? I did one the other day and it turned out to be a little lackluster although not chicken but pork. I’m looking for a solid recipe for some good breakfast sausages.
I was happy with how they turned out for a chicken sausage. Trying to avoid bacon and pork sausage. If health considerations didn’t matter I would rather have Jimmy Deans but I will make these again. Might add more cayenne next time for extra kick.
Thanks, I just went down a Jimmy Dean rabbit hole and found a copycat recipe I’m going to try.
Link below if anybody is interested.

Wow, looks great, and I don’t care for poached eggs (those look perfect, how’d you do that?!)
My wife loves eggs benedict and the poached eggs were the hardest part for me to the point I didn’t want to make them. I ended up picking up a pan meant for it https://a.co/d/3CIFHDF will food snobs tell me it’s not a true poached prolly. Does it get the job done and make life easier absolutely:)
That’s quite a slick solution.
I can be a food snob - in this case I’m like Alton Brown in that I don’t care for unitaskers because I don’t have a million kitchen cabinets.
But if it works for you, and produces those eggs (!), rock on!
I am lucky that I do have a fair amount of cabinet space and thought this one would be worth it. We saw Alton Brown live a few months back and someone asked him if he still has that stance and unitaskers. It sounds like he has softened somewhat on it as he no longer throws his wife’s garlic presses away because he knows they will just show back up. :)
