      The UN wouldn’t do dick to stop the aliens. They’d probably try to engage in talks while every major city gets orbitally bombarded to dust.

      NATO, on the other hand…fetch me my manhole cover.

          Alien attacks seems out of scope for the U.N. It’s for resolving conflicts between members, and the aliens are probably not members. Downvote if I’m wrong.
