Personally, I think the teaser is a lovely homage to the original intro, and it gives me a little optimism (especially the little nod to the line, “Oh, what fresh hell is this?”).

I wish Mr. Grammer nothing but the best in his new venture, but I’m too old to enjoy carrying on without Niles or Daphne. Marty is to be forgiven, rest his soul.
That is a reasonable take, totally understand the sentiment.
As a revival cast, where most of the characters are different, it’s not the same show. I hope it’s good, but I worry it will be not so good.

I think I’m good. I don’t really want to give Kelsey Grammar my time anymore. Loved it in the 90s but nah.
