Red and gray Eastern Screech Owls from A Place Called Hope in CT.

I looked at a bunch of raptor centers and all the CT ones are kinda sparse on details. All I could find out is Kokopelli (I’m assuming the red one , Snowball would be an odd name for that one) is a boy who had a run in with a window.

There are 3 color morphs of Eastern Screech Owls, red and gray are the most common, and brown somewhat rare except in Florida where they are about 40% of the screech owls there. I found a good but short write up here if you want to know more and see a picture of the brown morph.

    If you want to see more of any particular type of owl, let me know. I usually try to find less common ones if possible to get max variety, but if you guys have any preferences, let me know.
