Hundreds of nominees for military positions have been stalled as Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., protests Pentagon abortion policy. The Pentagon says the total number could swell to 650.

Nothing like holding the safety and well-being of the world hostage just so they can push a painfully obvious phony “moral” outrage. Apparently, “pro-life” to these mother fuckers means putting everyone in serious danger.

Im gonna hold off on that statement and say most of the world would have been better off had the US not had a military or meddled in foreign affairs, minus like 2 or 3 very specific instances

for the first time in the history of the Department, three of our military services are operating without Senate-confirmed leaders. This is unprecedented, unnecessary and unsafe."

This Tuberville guy is making a huge fuck up.

“I warned the Pentagon that I would hold their most senior nominees if they broke the law,” Tuberville said in a statement, first reported this week by Breitbart News.

Great so this is just another politician tied into the Trump-o-sphere, coordinating with Steve Bannon.

The Senate has always treated military nominations with respect and bipartisan support as part of a routine promotion process.

Yet another reminder that our government works because of hundreds of Gentleman’s Agreements and none of it is coded in, making everything it does vulnerable to little childish protests like this.

Also vulnerable to those both influenced by and those actively working toward extra national interests.

How? What is the strength of national security compared to a Republican’s beliefs in their anachronistic values?
