Thanks a lot for creating this community. I wasn’t too impressed when I heard the sub isn’t going to go dark on Reddit. Anyways, who cares about Reddit when we have Lemmy!

Just FYI, I have no time or inclination to mod so this will be open for all posts. If this becomes a problem, I am happy to hand over the reigns to a mod team (please PM me your Lemmy handle so I can do some due diligence).

We should also promote this on Reddit once the blackout is over. Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten any response from the mods there to ensure, that any blackout stuff can be pinned.
But the protest was highly upvoted there and I hope we can get the people from there to such a federated instance.
