Methinks the government wants everybody to be miserable indoors. The dismal lying weather report ruined my Christmas plans. Turned out to be a gorgeous beautiful sunny day in Southern California and I could’ve done the thing I was planning to do if the weather forecast hadn’t lied to us telling us it would be pouring rain for 4 solid days. Lies. The government weather forecast ruined my Christmas and I ended up spending the day alone at the gym instead of at the beach with friends.
Or, predicting the future is impossible and weather forecasts are educated guesses.
If it’s impossible to forecast the weather, why have meteorologists continued doing it every day several times a day for the last few decades? Because often they are spot-on accurate.
But they fuck up the accuracy on weekends & major holidays.
I challenge you to start charting it. I kinda do feel like charting it now. Get a full year of data in 2026.
Note how meteorologists get the weather predictions right on boring normal work days M-F. Then note how often they erroneously forecast shitty weather on weekends & holidays when the reality is beautiful weather.
