Just joined the community and wanted to say hello! Been a pinball fan since the 80s and in the process of getting my first VP cabinet. Played plenty of VP on consoles, etc. so very excited to get a full sized machine. Does anyone have one? Did you build from scratch or buy prebuilt?
I’m working on the plans to build my first VP from scratch. My partner and I are major geeks, so we have a lot of spare monitors around the house. The real pinball machine (House of Magic) takes a lot of upkeep!
That’s awesome! Wish I had the time and expertise to build one, alas I’ve instead had to save lots to afford a prebuilt.
Don’t have one on my end but always was interested in the field, currently following the VPX Standalone project which focuses on porting that software into cross platform capabilities, so OS like Mac and Linux, it’s not all the way there yet but it’s making good progress. ^^
